La Hoya is a small neighborhood grocery store and taqueria/kitchen with apartments blaring Jay-Z tunes above it. There is no real reason for anyone aside from those living in the area to go there due to its limited selection of goods and location.

Along with the steak, beans, lettuce, tomato, onions, cilantro, and hot sauce were a couple pieces of fat and one small chunk of gristle. The steak was good and the hot sauce enhanced the flavor of the burrito nicely. Cheese, avocado, and sour cream can be added for 50¢ each.

La Hoya’s steak burrito is better than average, but I won’t be going back. Locals only as far as I’m concerned.
