I would have never found this place had I not been working in Roselawn/Demotte for the week. The billboard off the interstate directed me to the restaurant in the Lake Holiday Plaza, which is pretty much all there is to Roselawn.

The exterior and interior of The Rodeo fail to impress (hence no pictures) and might scare off potential customers who care about that sort of thing. I don’t.

My steak burrito arrived containing the usual beans, cheese, lettuce, and tomato. There wasn’t any fat or gristle in the steak, which didn’t really have any flavor, just texture. The fold job was pretty lousy on the burrito (see pic), and I found there to be a bit too much refried beans, which squished out of the end.

The chips were warm and fresh but unsalted. The accompanying salsa was thin, runny, and mild. It was merely O.K.

Unfortunately I can’t recommend The Rodeo for its steak burrito. Burritos Jalisco in Demotte is about 10 miles away and a much better choice in my opinion.
